It 's a topic a bit' grim, true, but let's face it honestly, who went to visit a loved one to the cemetery is not impressed by some These epitaphs on the tombstones?
For me it's an opportunity to wander around and realize how much creativity there is in these inscriptions.
Beyond the usual "to dear husband ... "beloved wife" ... there are written that really leave a mark.
But the thing that leaves me incredulous is that not all of any one who speaks ill of the deceased. All good people, all honest fathers, hard workers, people who have led by example, upstanding, good husbands, unselfish, even sacrificial for the good of others, all lives spent solely in the interests of others.
Never a stinking of shit, a thief, a bastard of a husband, a Camorra, nothing, nothing like that.
